Fuel
and power engineering branch of economics of the district is of
great importance for development of economics of Krasnodar Region.
Uninterrupted operation of enterprises of this sector was provided
due to measures on building of own power production facilities,
increase of oil and gas production and expansion of production capacities
of petroleum refineries.
Fuel
industry of the region is represented by petroleum- and gas-production
enterprises, petroleum refineries supplying petroleum products to
domestic and external markets.
Strategy
of the branch is oriented towards search and development of new
oil and gas fields. Increase of explored reserves should be achieved
to achieve growth of production of hydrocarbon raw materials and
for this purpose attraction of significant funds are required.
